Blazers Volleyball Team is originally founded by Mona/Monina who is very passionate on Sports playing volleyball since childhood and even became a part of the varsity team from primary, secondary, and up to college. After finishing college, she also became a volleyball coach on her own Alma mater DLSU – College of Saint Benilde. She founded this Volleyball group to empower women who are Overseas Filipino workers in Hong Kong.
The team is composed of strong and energetic Filipina women who are working in Hong Kong for the sake of their loved ones in the Philippines to give them a brighter future they deserve. Despite of hard and stressful work in Hong Kong on which working outside of your comfort zone, still, the team managed to spend some hours to play volleyball and compete with the other teams even other races like Indonesians and etc. Volleyball truly never stops.
